I declare Grizzly Bear the winner of the psychedelic animal-related-band-named indie band of the year. Sorry Animal Collective, especially you, Panda Bear. I’m sure you’ll see plenty of critic love in the year-end lists, and I will always think of you on my frequent drives between Takoma Park and Ellicott City, as I pass Merriweather Post Pavilion on I-95. But I digress, this post is about Grizzly Bear. They rock. If I could join any band, basing my decision on musical up-my-alley-ness, Grizzly Bear would be there on a short list. Of course, if including non-music factors, She & Him would be my top choice, without question. So yes, listen to this song. Enjoy it.
